A Collection of WordPress Projects on Github

Github is an open source collaboration tool and code repository. There are a number of WordPress projects thriving in this ecosystem, and Themergency have listed a few of the best WordPress projects hosted on Github.

I highly recommend taking a look at their post and helping them build this resource even further with your recommendations. I hope it spurs other developers to share their code on this great site.

My favourite discoveries from this list are the WordPress Plugin Boilerplate and the WordPress Widget Boilerplate, two excellent resources for us developers.
