New to WordPress and have no clue where to start from? Wouldn’t it be good if WordPress shipped with a user manual? While there is no official user manual apart from the extensive Codex documentation (which might not be so suitable for beginners), there have been some great efforts at producing such beginners user guides. Here are the best we’ve come across:
Interconnect/it’s WordPress User Guide
This is a traditional user guide available in PDF format. It is regularly updated as new versions of WordPress come out, so make sure the link again every few months to get your latest version.
Easy WP Guide
This guide is available both online and as a downloadable PDF. The PDF version is free but you can also pay to get the white label version which you can then re-distribute to your clients.
WP101
WP101 provides user manuals in video format. Some of you might prefer learning by watching somebody perform tasks rather than reading about them, so this solution would be perfect for you. WP101 is also available in Spanish. Another alternative is Treehouse where you can find WordPress beginner courses that are really awesome.
