I agree with Ron, the MCE buttons plugin is much neater, putting table building in the editor rather than having to create them elsewhere.
I personally like Tiny MCE Tables. Adds about 7 buttons to your visual editor. Works like a charm. Great for a clients who want to have columns of data, a photo gallery, or a pricing chart.
