Best Syntax Highlighter Plugin for WordPress

Do you want to insert code snippets into your WordPress posts? Your best bet is to use a syntax highlighter plugin. Here’s the best one I’ve found:

Prismatic – Very well documented and developed by Jeff Starr, a very well known developer in the WP community.

These two are also worth checking out:

Enlighter – Good plugin but only includes Enlighter.js and I prefer Prism.js

Prism for WP – Prism.js is an awesome syntax highlighter that adds a handy button in your editor which you can use to insert code snippets in many languages. Unfortunately, it is no longer maintained.

    Compilebin is a very good plugin which consists of syntax highlighter and compiler.
