WooComerce is a great way to set up your online store. However, whereas WooCommerce has awesome functionality in setting up, concluding orders, and creating reports, many store owners turn towards a separate plugin to export their orders.

In this article, we’re going to take on a hands-on approach and show you how to export your WooCommerce orders using WP All Export. Let’s get to work.

If you’re thinking of migrating to a new website, or envision using the import version of the plugin at a later stage, I suggest opting for the Import + Export packages. For the purposes of this tutorial, however, the Export Standalone will work just fine.
Setting Up The Export
To start a new export, go to All Export > New Export in the WordPress sidebar. The first thing you need to do is select WooCommerce Orders from the drop-down menu.
At this point, you can add filtering options to specify exactly which orders you want to export. You can do this by adding various criteria. In this case, I’ve set the order status to complete. By adding this criterion, I will only be exporting completed orders. It’s a pretty neat feature to have.
Continue on to the next step to customize your export file.
Customizing Your WooCommerce Orders Export File
The plugin interface is pretty straightforward. WP All Export displays the available data on the right-hand side of the screen which you can then drag and drop into the dashed rectangle in the center of your screen. The way you order your elements will be reflected in the CSV or excel file once it is exported.
Alternatively, you can also click the Add Field button which displays a list of all the available fields.
To remove one of the elements, simply drag it out of the box and it will disappear. You also have the option to delete all the elements by clicking on the Clear All button.
You can also reorder elements in the same way by dragging and dropping them within the box.
In this way, you can add as much or as little information as you want. You can add data about the order, order items, customer, taxes and shipping, notes, refunds, and more.
When you’re happy with your choice, use the Preview button to see what your export file will look like. This gives you a live preview of your excel file with real data from the export. If you need to make any changes, you can always go back and edit your fields.
Once your fields are all set, you need to choose your export type. WP All Export gives you a number of options. You can either export your WooCommerce Orders into a spreadsheet or as a feed.
In this example, I’m going to opt for the spreadsheet. From the drop-down menu, choose between a CSV file, XLS, or XLSX file.
Alternatively, you can export your WooCommerce orders to a feed as a simple XML feed or Custom XML Feed.
Finalizing and Running the Export
WP All Export gives you scheduling options that allow you to automatically export any WooCommerce data on a schedule. You can set daily, weekly or monthly exports and set a specific time (and time zone).
Under Advanced Options WP All Export lets you specify whether you want to only export orders once. This means that with each subsequent run, only new orders will be exported.
Alternatively, you can choose to only export modified orders. In this case, orders with altered data will be exported.
All that’s left is to name your feed so that it’s easier to recognize later on.
Confirm and run your export.
Final Steps
In the final step of the plugin, WP All Export will display all the things you can do with your newly exported WooCommerce Orders file.
