If you own a WooCommerce store, it is important to start thinking about exporting your WooCommerce data and keeping it organized. This simple yet effective task can be the key to growing your business and keeping a good eye on your developing business.

By exporting your data, you can start analyzing your orders which in turn, will help you make well-thought-out and informed decisions. Alternatively, if you are outsourcing order fulfilment, exporting your data is the only way to do it.

Ultimately, exporting your WooCommerce data to a CSV or Excel file is simply a great way of backing up your information, just in case anything goes wrong with your plugins or website. It is also an imperative task to carry out if you’re thinking of migrating to a new website.

WP All Export is one of the best solutions out there for the job. In this post, we’ll be taking a look at how to export your WooCommerce customers using this easy to use plugin.

Let’s dive right in.

Creating a new WooCommerce customers export

Creating a new export is simple enough with WP All Export. To start off, head over to All Export in your WordPress dashboard and select “New Export”. Next, from the drop-down menu, select “WooCommerce Customers”.

Step 1

At this stage, you can already start adding filtering options to the items you want to export. If you’re interested in exporting specific WooCommerce Customers, for example, users registered within a specific date range, you can do so by adding Rules. You can add as many of these as you like.

Filter

Once you’re done, click on “Customize Export File” to go to the next section.

Customizing the export file

Now that we’ve set our specific filters, we need to let the plugin know exactly what customer information we want to export. Your available data is displayed on the right-hand side of your screen.

All you need to do is drag and drop the export elements such as customer ID, User Email, User Login, and Username to build your WooCommerce export file.

Drag and drop

You can easily rearrange your columns by dragging the elements around to reorganize them. If you need to remove one of them, simply drag it out of the box. WP All Export also lets you rename the elements by clicking on them.

If you wish to add all the available data, hit the “Add All” button to include all the fields.

Once you’re done, select “Preview” to check that all your information is displayed in the order that you want it. You can always go back and rearrange or add more data before moving on to the next step in the export.

When you’re happy with the result, scroll down to the “Export Type” section to choose your spreadsheet file type. Here, you can choose between CSV and Excel files.

Before you hit that final Export button, WP All Export gives you the option to schedule your export to run automatically on specific days and at specific times.

The Advanced Options section provides with you with even more customization options for your WooCommerce Customer export:

  • Only export customers once.
  • Only export customers that have been modified since the last export.
  • Only export customers who have made a purchase.
  • Include BOM in the export file.
  • Create a new file each time export is run.
  • Split large exports into multiple files.

Finally, name your feed with a friendly name and hit the “Confirm & Run Export” button.

Finishing up the export

Your plugin is now busy at work exporting your data to generate a file.

Once the export is complete, WP All Export presents you with everything you can do with your data:
