Slider Revolution is one of the best-known WordPress plugins for creating sliders, hero sections, animations, and engaging web content.
We’re a small, remote team building a template library focused on quality over quantity. We’re looking for a talented designer with a strong visual eye to help us create polished, modern templates that users will actually want to use.
What you’ll do
- Design and refine templates from initial concept through to release
- Create and customize templates using the Slider Revolution editor. We’ll train you on the editor.
- Develop layouts, animations, typography, and visual details that make templates feel polished and production-ready
- Record and edit short videos showcasing templates, features, and interactions
- Use AI-assisted design tools to explore ideas, iterate quickly, and refine visual details
- Work closely with the team to review, improve, and ship new templates
What we’re looking for
- An excellent eye for design. This matters more than almost anything else.
- Strong attention to detail and a habit of finishing things properly
- A good understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, composition, and motion
- Basic video recording and editing skills
- Willingness to learn and become comfortable with our editor
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual taste and attention to detail
HTML/CSS knowledge is not required. Experience in web design, UI design, motion design, or digital content creation is a plus.
What we offer
- Full-time contractor role, invoiced monthly
- Flexible working hours
- Fully remote
- A small, collaborative team where your work can move quickly from idea to release
- The opportunity to have your designs used by a large global user base
How to apply
If you’re interested in joining us, please send us your CV and portfolio, along with a few specific examples of your design work.
We’re particularly interested in seeing examples that demonstrate your sense of:
- Layout and composition
- Typography
- Visual hierarchy
- Animation or motion, if applicable
- Attention to detail
- Modern web or digital design
Please include specific design examples rather than only a general portfolio link. If you have work that you’re particularly proud of, briefly tell us what you designed and what your role was.
What matters most
We’re not looking for someone who simply knows how to use a design tool.
We’re looking for someone who can look at a template and immediately see what could make it better: a better composition, cleaner spacing, stronger typography, smoother animation, or a more polished overall experience.
If you have strong visual taste, care about the details, and enjoy turning ideas into polished digital experiences, we’d love to see your work.
