  1. Nice list of Google Analytics Plugins, but for me best option is “Classic Analytics” without any additional plugins.

  2. Thanks for the list Mark. I like the Google Analytics Dashboard for WP myself.

One of the challenges I see with standard Google Analytics is it provides mostly vanity metrics with inaccurate time on site and bounce rates.

There is a new plugin recently released designed to extend Google Analytics to focus on measurements that really matter like conversions, engagement and if people are really reading your content:

It’s designed to not just tell you what pages people are hitting, but scores content to tell you what generates the most effective ROI.

  3. Thanks for posting this. I’ve been using Google Analytics for WP which is also the most popularly downloaded plugin.

  4. Hello,
I have started blogging myself. I am trying to find out the basic problems that my blog is having and looking for solutions. Also, I’m searching for some basic things like themes and other stuff.

Can you suggest me any basic idea that I might need in the future as a new blogger?
