During the past week we’ve seen new versions of the popular CRED, Types and Views plugins be released. These were highly anticipated releases and bring in a number of new features.
All three plugins can be purchased separately or bought together under the Toolset package.
Google have just announced that Google Reader, a most-loved RSS feed aggregator, will shut down come July 1. As is to be expected, many people were outraged by this decision. If you’re one of the Google Reader users, and you’re also working with WordPress, let me present you with an alternative.
During the last couple of months, we’ve been really active here at WP Mayor, maintaining a near daily post rate about all things WordPress. The visitor stats have been growing steadily and I’m very happy with the audience this site has.

In fact, Genesis 1.9 is now in Beta version and you can already download it and give it a spin. We don’t recommend you use it in production just now, but it’s good to test it so that you can get accustomed to the changes that have been implemented.

Yes, WP Mayor is 2 years old. It’s been another great year and all the work put into this website has been well worth the time. I also spoke at WordCamp Seville this year, which was a great experience.
