Everyone deserves to be happy

Whether you’re an agency, freelancer, or manager, the overall success of a project is determined not only by the end result but the expectations your clients have along the way. Project Panorama is a visual “state-of-the-union” reporting dashboard you can present to your clients and team members to keep everyone in the loop.

It quickly communicates high-level information like overall progress, mid-level information like number of project phases and phase completion, and low-level details such as tasks. Your clients will feel at ease having a clear, comprehensive status update they can see.

Why use Project Panorama?

There are plenty of project management solutions out there, but most of them are only useful for internal teams. They let you assign and discuss tasks, identify key milestone dates, and track individual task completion which only works if tasks are being assigned to specific team members. It’s not ideal if you’re a client who just wants to know how everything is progressing.

Uncomfortable clients and team members typically leads to more questions and status update requests (more emails!). This, of course, takes time — time that could be spent actually doing the work.

Our plugin makes you look like a superhero

Whether you actually are one or not is your own business. Project Panorama has a fully responsive layout, short codes to easily embed projects into your theme’s pages, and carefully crafted design. It also saves you time by auto calculating phase and process completion percentages, preventing you from having to manually adjust them every time you make an update (which you control freaks can still do if you want).

You can also clone existing projects as templates for new ones, so once you put in the time and effort to create a project no time has been wasted.

Your project data belongs to…well, you

Unlike other project management tools, you own all of your data which can then be exported as an XML file.

Control and security are important to us too

You have full control of project access. If you don’t want all projects to be public, you have the ability to limit access to specific users, password protect certain projects, and block them from search engines.

  1. having purchased this plugin a few years ago now i am amazed at the usability and all round awesomeness of its functionality and use to impress potential and continuing clients.
i had some issues at one point but the developer went far out of his way to clear up the problems and his support and customer service is exceptional even in the face of frustration he stayed calm and professional at all times and only imbued even more confidence in the use of his plugin.
it has continued to grow since its beginnings and now has some cool extras not listed above as well as integration with an invoicing plugin namely sprout invoices that just makes everything so much more impressive in presentation.
i noticed earlier on today there are even comments for each phrase been added which impressed me quite a lot and im not even sure when they appeared until a notification informed me of them through a comment left by a user.
this is one purchase i have yet to feel was a bad choice
try it in its free version if needed but purchasing will not disappoint as the extras are well worth the cost

    1. Thanks for the kind words and glad to know you’re still finding the plugin useful!

Glad you’re liking the new features, we’ve had great response to the Sprout Invoices integration and the comments on phases. I have tons of new ideas and love developing the plugin, so keep an eye out for more features in the future — if you like the last few releases you’ll love the next ones.

  2. WPMayor discount code is invalid… on page. entered today to purchase Project Panorama Premium > Conclusion of the operation : not purchased

    1. Sorry Christophe, the promotion was only valid for a week. We may run another promotion in the future.

  3. This seems like an awesome and much needed plugin. I went ahead and checked out the demo, definitely promising!! I have a few questions before I plunge.

What type of documents can be added? Text and PDF? Photos (jpg, png, gif, tiff) PSD? AI? Are all those file types applicable? I want to use this for web design and graphic design clients, would I be able to add the necessary files mentioned above?

Also, as far as the discussion area, is there a way to have multiple discussions, or even discussions on a particular phase of task in addition to the overall discussion? That way, say I need to communicate with the client only about the Design phase in regards to the concept task, then we are only discussing that and not adding that discussion at the bottom of the page and it gets lost/moved way down. I hope that makes sense what I am trying to explain.

    Looking forward to your replies.

  4. I really like the looks of this. The website adds that the plugin supports document uploads. Is this a function available to the client, where they can upload documents that I request from them? And is there a way to assign a task to upload a document, and the task gets automatically marked complete when the client completes the upload?

Thanks for the answers. I checked out the demo, but it doesn’t seem to incorporate the document feature.

    1. Hey Dean, thanks for checking out Panorama. Currently the documents area is intended to be a place to store all deliverables related to the project, for example proposals, contracts, design concepts, planning documents, etc… So there isn’t an interface for clients to upload documents directly nor is it tied to a task.

A content / document / asset gathering plugin is a great idea however and we might build an add-on in the future.

    1. Ross – many thx – all went through fine.

Looking forward to using it in conjunction with my new WordPress website migration service

      1. Thanks for the purchase Paul. I hope you find Panorama useful. We’ll have an update at coming out early next week that will add some nice features, so keep an eye out for it.

Migrately looks like a very useful service. I’m sure I’ll run into some clients that will need this sort of help in the future and I’ll be sure to send them your way.

  5. Great looking tool and I want to buy it but the site is not accepting that coupon code? Says it’s invalid
