I think this plugin addresses one of the lesser-focused-on parts of the WordPress architecture: search. Besides Relevanssi, I think this is one of the few professionally coded(and supported) plugins that finesse site-wide search results.

The kickass part of this plug-in: PDF indexing. Huge plus for any content marketer.

If the plugin is coded even half as well as Attachments Pro(one of my favourite plugins from Jonathan) then we’re in for a treat!

The WP Search has always been funky and making it behave with CPTs and getting all up in the query’s grill is a real headache. By what this blog says, and for my shameless addiction to entering simple giveaways, I reckon I’d love to check out this premium plugin for nil cost. So hope hope hope … hooray (what i didn’t win it yet?)

Sounds very interesting as I have tried a few different options to make the current wonky WP search better. Hope to have the opportunity to test it out for my clients!

Looks like a really nice alternative to the built in WordPress search functionality. I’d love to win a copy to test it out for myself 🙂

Does it work fully in multisite?

SearchWP works as expected in a multisite environment, but it does not search across sites in the network.

As a web designer using WordPress, you can imagine the use I would have for such a plugin!

I’ve been blogging on my site nearly daily since 2006. So with seven years worth of information to dig through you can imagine how much fun the old search function on WP is and I’d love to experience something better that will take my breath away!

To be honest, I never really thought about it but perhaps I need to re-visit this idea. Would love the opportunity to test this out.

i currently have a search issue with a site – the site needs a more robust search and to date, I haven’t found a reasonable solution. seems the challenge is important – but not important to throw programming money at. this plug-in seems like a solution – we’ll see…

If I win, I would use this for my “First Natural Bank” (databank) WP site. I’ve wanted to develop it for many years, but never had the right search capabilities. This looks like it would do the job!

For a wannabe designer and DIY site builder, WPSearch will help tremendously! The current WP search engine is sometimes rather hit-and-miss, which makes it more likely that my customers might miss finding the product(s) they’re looking for.
I can’t count on EVERYONE browsing all of the pages on my site and only purchasing something sporadically. Typically my customers are looking for particular information or a certain piece of art or decoration.
I believe that this plugin would solve a lot of issues for merchants in particular!
It certainly would be a major addition for my sites!
