One thing that we’ve learned while building Easy Pricing Tables is that users love products that make complicated tasks easy. Lots of people we’ve talked to were frustrated by how difficult it was to integrate email marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Aweber & Campaign Monitor with WordPress.
The usual solution involves copying & pasting a HTML snippet to your site, but usually the form won’t look nice out of the box. You’ll have to spend some time messing with CSS & HTML to get things right, and if you’re not technical you might even have to hire a developer.
That’s why we’ve built Easy Opt-ins For Mailchimp.
The Easy Opt-ins For Mailchimp WordPress plugin makes it super easy to set up nice looking sidebar-widget opt-in forms. It bridges the gap between creating a list in Mailchimp and publishing a form on your site.
How to Build Your First Mailchimp Opt-in Form
After installing Easy Opt-ins, and clicking “Opt-in Forms -> Add New” you’ll get to the form builder. Once you enter your Mailchimp API key you can choose your list and whether you want to use double opt-in or not.
Next you’ll select a “Thank you”-page. This is a WordPress page to which your users will be redirected to after they’ve successfully opted in.
The “Thank you”-page is a great place to put another call to action, such as “like us on Facebook”, “follow us on Twitter” or “check out our products”. A user that has just opted in is much more likely to take another action immediately afterwards.
Using our opt-in form designer you can fully customize your form’s design and content. You can change colors, hide various form elements or add images to your form-Description.
Next, simply add the “Opt-in widget” to your sidebar and you’re done.

That’s it. We’ve just built a nice looking opt-in form in a few minutes, without any HTML, CSS or external development help.
More and more bloggers are hopping on the email marketing bandwagon and we believe that this is a valuable addition to the WordPress plugin directory. This is just the first version of Easy Opt-ins and we’ve got tons of ideas for new features, but we’re very interested in what you think. We’d love to hear from you in the comments below.

I’m not using Widgets. How do I integrate the form directly into a page? Which short code do I use?
